The Arrowhead cracker mill is the most technologically advanced mill made today. They are the only ones that make a roller bearing mill. I cannot tell enough you what a huge advantage it is over conventional bronze bearing mills. We have both conventional single drive bronze bearing mills and the new roller bearing mill. The dual drive mill generates 2-3 times more than a single drive mill.
The roller bearings cut our mill downtime by more than 90%.
Operating costs are much lower too. The roller bearings have less resistance and use less power.
We’ve eliminated the cost of grease lubrication and disposal that a conventional bronze bearing mill has.
